        \n<\/strong>If one of your headlights is dead or working poorly, people travelling the opposite direction may mistake what type of vehicle you are driving: they may think you are on a motorbike instead of a car… which is far wider. This would result in a risk of collision. The same is true for your rear lights: if drivers behind you are thinking about overtaking a two-wheeler, they may not be as cautious as if they thought you were in a four-wheeled vehicle.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Roadworthiness test
          \n<\/strong>Turning up with your car for a roadworthiness test with faulty or poorly adjusted lighting will mean… you will have to come back a second time. For the reasons given above, the inspector won\u2019t give your car a pass unless you can take to the road safely.
          \nSimilarly, avoid having to pull out your wallet to pay a fine when a police officer carries out a spot check.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
